There is a new Fuji camera in my family. Waterproof, shockproof, dustproof, and freeze proof means the Fuji XP120 is the perfect worry-free camera to take along on our family adventures. This little workhorse is the right size to pack in our backpacks and amazing for capturing our adventures without worry. Gone is the worry of bumping the camera or having a leaky water bottle too close. The Fuji XP120 is my go to camera for on the go!

During the summer we can most likely be found at the cottage, our local beach, canoe club, or many regattas around Ontario. I love taking photos of our family adventures but sometimes it is too risky to take my big camera (my beloved Fuji X-A2) along because of the risk of water and sand or just getting bumped. Thus the reason is why I am crushing on my new Fuji XP120! I recently brought my new crush, Fuji XP120, along to see my youngest, Miss T, compete in track and field.
I was able to capture a rare moment, Miss T and her teammates sitting still. The camera is easy to use and has many settings to help you get the perfect picture. The camera has many shooting modes but it is easy to navigate on the LCD screen. A few pushes of the button and I went from Auto, to capture the photo above, to….
sports shooting mode to capture this action shot. Great jump Miss T! I captured a photo of the 3rd place jump for the County Track & Field 2017!! Woohoo!!
After cheering on Miss T and her teammates I had free time to chill out in one of my favourite small towns. Perth, Ontario is southwest of Ottawa and a gem hidden along the Tay River. There are beautiful spots all around and every visit I find a new one. The sun was getting to me so I headed to one of my favourite little shops for a smoothie and a little rest on their shaded patio.

With a Sunny C Smoothie in hand, I strolled past my favourite pub and chocolate spot…

to a little park where I relaxed under the shade of a huge willow tree and enjoyed the view. I played with the zoom on my XP 120 and it did not disappoint. Not bad zoom, not bad at all.

This little camera does a lot! The neat thing is I snapped most of these photos using only one hand! At the track, I was responsible for sunscreen, water, hat, and taking photos, the extra grip on the camera is something I noticed right away. I also appreciate the large 3 inch LCD monitor, and how easy and clear the buttons are to find. This camera records videos in HD and can also create time-lapse videos. There is a movie mode called Cinemagraph that adds action to your photos and I can not wait to play around with the Cinemagraph. You can see it in action HERE.
The XP120 has wireless controls that let you shoot through your smartphone, print on the instax SHARE™ Printer and transfer images to a mobile device easily. I use the wifi often and it works so well.
Fuji has thought of even the little details and it is appreciated. This waterproof, shockproof, dustproof, and freeze proof camera will be accompanying my family on a lot of adventures this summer! Watch my Instagram this summer for some fun photos (@shannonsview).

This sounds perfect! My husband dropped my digital camera and it’s smashed up pretty good. It still works but is on it’s last legs so I’ll be taking a closer look at this one very soon.
This would be a great investment
