Have kids in sport? Then you may be interested in a competition hosted by Under Armour and Sport Chek. The 2nd annual Team UA NEXT Canada Powered by Sport Check campaign is set to find the NEXT generation of Under Armour Athletes. Canadian athletes between the ages of 7 and 12 years are eligible to compete to become the face of Under Armour’s new campaign across Sport Chek stores across Canada.
There will be two winners, one male, and one female, who will each receive a year’s worth of Under Armour gear, participate in a sports photo shoot and be featured in Sport Chek stores across Canada.
Wonder what it takes to join UA Team Next? Take a peek at last year’s winners, Brenden McLeod of Newmarket and Maya Rajhans of Etobicoke, talk about what it takes. Brenden, a hockey and lacrosse player, and Maya, a basketball and soccer enthusiast, were chosen because they had the right mix of determination, passion, teamwork, and will.
“Last year hundreds of talented young athletes from coast to coast showed us how they hustle, persevere, and compete and we are excited to see who will tryout this year,” said Shana Ferguson, Marketing Director, Under Armour Canada.
