Streaming with your kids can open up some really good learning opportunities and conversations. I would not believe it if it did not happen to us. More than once. My oldest daughter is in her teens and has been streaming Bones. Non-stop. The kiddo has decided that she wants to study forensic anthropology in university. We talked about it and what is required from her now to fulfill that dream. Will she change her mind on what she wants to be? Maybe. But she will remember that the lesson of having to work for what you want. No matter what that is.
Netflix is host to a variety of family-friendly shows that explore a range of real-life issues with equal measures of humour, angst and heart.
