Dust off your tiaras!
National Princess Week is April 24-30
Are you ready to celebrate National Princess Week? For my youngest daughter, Miss T, every week is Princess Week. A few instances come to mind about Miss T and her tiara. I remember Miss T shopping at a local store and the cashier commenting “What a lovely tiara you have on!” and Miss T’s nonchalant “Thank you” as she was digging for money in her purse. I love that this kid thinks it is quite normal to sport a tiara while out shopping.
Another time was when I was able to treat her to high tea at the Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa. Miss T was quite comfortable and enjoyed every moment as though it was a perfectly normal way to spend an afternoon… sipping tea (hot chocolate), enjoying pretty little bites in a castle. No biggie.
What is Princess Week? .”It’s a moment in time for children to celebrate their individuality and let their inner sparkle shine.” Julie Andrews
Miss T is quite proud to share her individuality and she was so pleased to see her Princess Personalized Book “Miss Tegan, A Day in the Life of a Princess” from I See Me! The cover has her name and favourite colour so she was already hooked! There are so many moments while reading the book that Miss T gave me a look that said “How did you do this?”. Her name, favourite colour, birthday and place of birth are all intertwined in the story and she loved every minute of it.
Here are some moments that stood out from the story.
The princess book is perfect for any child you know that would love to see themselves made in to a princess. The book is sturdy, printed in the USA, and will be a cherished treasure.
