Toronto City Pass – A Fantastic Value

October 7, 2013 By Shannon 7 Comments

Toronto City Pass

In the last year I have headed to Toronto for no less than four conferences. During those visits I had some free time and was able to explore Toronto and play the tourist. Thanks to the generosity of a fellow blogger, GingerMommy (*waving* and saying Thank You!), I was able to enjoy the benefits of a City Pass during my latest visit to Toronto.

City Pass bundles prepaid admission to each city’s top attractions – based on annual attendance – into one easy-to-use ticket booklet whose cost is up to half off what it would cost to purchase those same admissions separately. And, because CityPASS limits the number of attractions on each city’s pass to five or six of the most popular sights, visitors have ample time to enjoy a destination, never feeling the need to rush frantically from attraction to attraction to get their money’s worth.

City Pass is available in 11 North American cities:

  • Atlanta
  • Boston
  • Chicago
  • Hollywood
  • Houston
  • New York City
  • Philadelphia
  • San Francisco
  • Seattle
  • Southern California
  • Toronto

The highlight of my last Toronto visit was visiting the CN Tower.

View from CN Tower

With the City Pass admission was given to take the elevator ride to the top of the CN Tower. I was able to explore the world-famous Glass Floor at 1,122 feet. I also took a tour around the outdoor SkyTerrace. The SkyTerrace is an open air experience filled with amazing views. The City Pass also included admission in to the CN Tower story in the Height of Excellence film and motion theatre ride.

Other attraction included in the Toronto City Pass:

  • Admission to the Royal Ontario Museum – Canada’s largest museum of world cultures and natural history
  • Casa Loma Castle admission including multimedia guide and Pellatt film
  • Toronto Zoo admission to five indoor pavilions and outdoor trails that highlight over 5,000 animal residents of the zoo
  • Ontario Science Centre is home to fascinating interactive experiences, making it a must-see for visitors to Toronto

If you are heading to any of the destinations mentioned above, I highly recommend you check out the City Pass!

Next City Pass purchase for me? Southern California for the family!

Happy and safe travels.

CityPASS is a great opportunity to see a lot at a reasonable price, hopefully a lot more Canadian cities will be added over time.
