My good friend Sandi from Canadian Blog House invited me to tag along with her to a luncheon. The luncheon is a part of a series hosted by the Ottawa Senators Foundation and Ferguslea and described as…
The freshest new event in Ottawa, this roaming “pop up” speaker series engages, entertains and educates on the most compelling and relevant issues for women as the wearers of many hats –as business leaders, decision makers, caregivers, trend setters, parents, friends and much more. Led by the Ottawa Senators wives and girlfriends, and hosted in unique locations at local area shopping malls, this trio of luncheons features fascinating female presenters and encourages conversation, idea sharing and networking opportunities for every woman.
There were some booths set up for hair and makeup but I made my way straight to Sid Cratzbarg. Sid Cratzbarg was promoting Jimmy Choo’s new fragrance. If you love fresh scents then this is one you should check out.
Overall, the luncheon was entertaining, informative, well-organized and an overall success. There was time for mingling and networking and the event never felt rushed. If you’re interested in connecting with like-minded women, listening to inspiring talks, sharing a great lunch with friends or colleagues, all while supporting a great cause, then I would recommend you take a look at the next luncheon in the series.
