The eagerly anticipated package containing the new Seeds of Change products has arrived! I was ready to give this ready to heat side dish a try. My family loves rice and I love the idea of quinoa but have not quite mastered preparing it. I had high hopes for Seeds of Change being a hit with myself and the family. I anticipate the 90 seconds to the table preparation time will save this momma on hockey nights!
I served up the Seeds of Change Quinoa & Brown Rice with garlic last night as a side dish to chicken. The family looked at the rice, then at me, back at the rice and dug in apprehensively. Only empty plates were returned from the dining table. Seeds of Change will be making a weekly appearance in my meal planning. I will be using different Seeds of Change flavours in different ways. It will save time when preparing family favourites like stuffed peppers, rice salads, casseroles and wraps.
I am happy to report ready to heat products can be organic, healthy, and delicious tasting.
Seeds of Change recently launched its Seeds of Change Grant Program in Canada, which contributes 1% of sales to community gardens across the country. Seeds of Change along with local partner Evergreen are helping 12 community gardens across Canada. Seeds of Change believes Canadians should have easy access to fresh, easy to prepare, organic foods.
