My youngest daughter, Miss T, has been wanting to make YouTube videos for a while now. I decided to indulge her and helped her make her first big haul video.
Miss T asked to head out to our local Dollar Tree in search of some accessories for her 18 inch doll, Taryn. Miss T has been getting some great ideas from YouTubers and she has created a whole apartment for her doll!
Here is a breakdown of her latest haul:
Craft Brown Paper Goodie Bags are perfect as grocery bags for Taryn. Best part is that they were $1 for 5.
Easter Egg Candy in Egg Cartons were a great score for 2$ for 4! They are the perfect size to fit into Taryn’s new shopping bags.
Hello Kitty Mini Tape Dispensers will look perfectly in place when Taryn has a desk. Miss T has big plans to expand Taryn’s apartment to include an office.
Scrapbooking Clothes Pins are the perfect size to hang Miss T’s doll clothes on the line.
A Mesh Pencil Holder will be used as a waste basket. I am so impressed with Miss T’s imagination to see something fun in a normally pretty boring office supply.
Mini Storage Bin is repurposed to be a clothing hamper. I hope I don’t have to do the dolly laundry too!
Not photographed because in Miss T’s words “it is lost in my messy room”:
A Mini Princess Backpack was spotted in the beauty aisle. The backpack is perfectly proportioned for an 18 inch doll but only cost 3$! The backpack had some hair ties and a brush, bonus items for the doll.
Shot Glasses are the perfect size regular cups.
Here is the video we made.
I think our next doll project will be something inspired by Diana Rambles 18″ Doll Twister Game. How cute is this?? I am also inspired by Make it and Love it’s idea of turning a shelf into a doll bed and clothing storage. So many great ideas out there!
