Disney On Ice is a guarantee to entertain and delight! Disney On Ice latest show, Disney On Ice Worlds of Fantasy, now in Ottawa, was a hit with myself, my daughter and her two friends. The non-stop action had the girls sitting on the edge of their seat. The highlight for us was definitely the characters from Cars. It is the first time that we see the residents of Radiator Springs on ice! We wish their set was a little longer.
We have been to see Disney on Ice for the last few year now and we have enjoyed them all! The kids always love seeing their most favorite characters and stories come to life. Since our first show when the girls were REALLY young up until last night, I have learned a few tricks to make our experience a positive for everyone. Here are some hints to help make your trip to Disney On Ice Worlds of Fantasy a fun and memorable one!
Feld Entertainment’s action-packed ice spectacular, Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy Presented by Stonyfield YoKids Organic Yogurt, whisks audiences on a captivating adventure to four magical locations, including the auto-racing terrain of Cars and a visit to Andy’s bedroom for some fun with the stars of Toy Story 3. This production delights audiences with a journey under the sea to Ariel’s world from The Little Mermaid and then into the mystical land of Pixie Hollow for a presentation of Tinker Bell.
Things parents should know about attending Disney On Ice Worlds of Fantasy:
-The length of the show is about 2 hours (including a short intermission).
-The show does have some pyrotechnics. Younger audience members were a little frightened and some warning may be recommended.
-Your children may be different but for us the cut off age is 12 years old. My youngest daughter and her friends truly enjoyed it. They are 7 years old. the 12-year-old on the other hand was more than happy to stay home and hang out.
-The volume is not loud. There are some louder explosion type sounds but overall I would say your little ones ear are safe.
-Dress up as your favorite Disney character. This show is a great opportunity for your little princess to shine!
-Put your childs’ ticket stub in their pocket (I wrote my cell number on the back of our little guests) so that if they got lost they know where to find you. We went over how to find our section and where to meet if we were separated. I also made a point of showing the girls who to ask for help if we were separated.
