I have what I like to call a portable home office. I am usually set up at the dinner table with my laptop and I have a home base desk with the printer (yay! for wireless printers) and other necessary supplies. When the family and I moved to a new home in mid-August my portable home office was scattered everywhere. I needed to organize and dedicate a new spot for my portable home offices’ home base (say THAT 5 times quick)!
When I think office supplies and organizing the first store that comes to mind is Staples. When I was asked to head to Staples with a gift card in hand I was thrilled!
My first stop was the Staples website to do a little pre-shop browsing. I know I will need to refresh the usual suspects…. pens, clips, printer ink, paper etc., but I wanted to take a peek at some of the organizing goodies. That is where I came across Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery. I am in love. The colors, the style.
I am also needing to organize my blogging papers. I know right? You would think that since I work on-line that I would have an online organizing system. Nope! Some things I have to do old school in order to feel like I am accomplishing something. Besides, those colors are awesome. I love how they are similar to my blog colors. A perfect match.
I wanted to send out a great big thank you to Staples for including me in this opportunity. I set out to organize a dedicated space for my home office. I found a lot organizing items that would make a great home office space. I opted for starting by organizing my papers.
I brought my girls on my shopping trip to Staples and they spotted a lot of items that they needed for back to school. I must admit that I may have been humming to the tune “It’s a wonderful time of year”. I was glad to be able to pick up a few things that they will be needing.
During my checkout at the cash I received a couple of surprises. I was able to earn extra Air Miles (15!!), I also received a gift card to be used later at Sears AND I also received a promo code for a FREE Mini School Package of Oliver’s Labels. Bonus!! If you are in need of office supplies or back to school supplies, I would highly recommend Staples.
I received compensation for this post in the form of a gift card. As always all opinions are my own.
