KleenSlate was developed by Julia Rhodes in 2001. A teacher she began KleenSlate with her first invention — an attachable eraser for dry erase markers. Since then KleenSlate has expanded to include a whole variety of great products to use in and out of the classroom.
I was sent a 2 pack of rectangular paddles, 10 pack of colorful dry-erase markers and a microfiber cleaning cloth for review. All the items are of great quality and I know will last throughout both my girls remaining school years. If by chance that the surface is damaged I can easily order a new one. The erasers on the cap of the dry erase markers are just brilliant!! The microfiber cleaning cloth works great on bigger erasing jobs. Overall everything I was sent was great quality and instant favorites for both my girls aged 10 and 6!! I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to everyone.
My first thought was how great these would be for math!! My oldest is a visual learner. We set up a simple math game. I would flash the equation on a paddle and she would answer. We timed it to see how many she got right. She had a blast. On the KleenSlate website you can access a 5 page Activity Booklet to help you get some ideas.
When we were done with Math, my daughters set off with the paddles to do some intense drawing. They love the selection of colors. So many great works of art were created
A classroom setting is what the KleenSlate was created for. I am suggesting that my child’s school purchase a classroom pack. Classroom interaction will be brought to a new level.
KleenSlate has also been used in health care. Image a patient unable to communicate. With KleenSlate in their a hands a patient can communicate clearly with health care providers.
Thanks to the generosity of KleenSlate you have a chance to win the same set I was sent!
